I had to try these pencils since according to some blogs they are the top wooden pencil offering by Pentel completing the supreme Japanese pencil triad with the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni and the Tombow Mono 100. While I'm glad to have had the opportunity to add them to my collection, I am not particularly impressed by its performance fresh out of the box. It did not sharpen well with a fairly new sharpene...
