Brilliant color, writes..., July 10, 2012Brilliant color, writes smoothly. It sometime does take time to get the pen
started, after a period of resting period.

Soft color accentuates..., July 8, 2012Soft color accentuates but not overpowers text. Dries quickly. The outer paint
does chip off from the body easily.

The rotating mechanism..., July 4, 2012The rotating mechanism really works! It is not only useful, but also
entertaining to watch. The only drawback of the product is that it is not made
in Japan.

Only reason I did not..., June 20, 2012Only reason I did not give a 5 because it is selective on paper. Bleu Pervenche
shades very well in either fine or broad nibs. It pairs well with either Rhodia
or Clairefontaine paper.

Unique shade, smoothing..., June 17, 2012Unique shade, smoothing writing like other Signo DX. Too bad it does not have
refills!

to take everything apart to refill. It is sad to see that the tape is fragile,
which make it a bit tricky to apply. If the tape is fortified, then it will be
an amazing product!

When I saw this product,..., September 26, 2011When I saw this product, I thought it was an answer to my perpetual wish. Well,
it is not a bad pen, but there is room for improvement.
Pros: -It is erasable -Ink flow is decent. Cons: -Probably because the ink is erasable; therefore, it is not as saturated as regular gel pen. -The ink consumption is relatively quick. I only have it for a month and I use more than half of the ink. I did not use the pen on a daily basis. -At first, the eraser works great. But as time goes on, it starts to leave black streaks on paper, even after I clean the eraser. -The position of the eraser is interesting. Since I am used to post my cap, I will need to remove my cap every time I need to erase. Not too convenient if you are as clumsy as me. All in all, a great idea. I am waiting to see the next generation of Frixion pens! |

It is a very interesting..., August 7, 2011It is a very interesting concept that a gel ink now can be erasable. I did
expect the green to be couple shades darker (a forest green instead of grass
green), but given that it is an erasable pen, darker color might be hard to
erase. The flow is decent, though at time it is not entirely consistent
(leaving strokes with green outline and white center). It would be better if
the erase is located on the top of the cap, instead of at the end of pen. This
is probably why the retractable version is made.
Overall, an interesting experiment, but with room for future improvement! |
