I used this one for a couple of weeks before writing this review. It underwent
fairly rigorous use, as I am in a programming and a calculus class.
Pros: Erases well, not a lot of shavings, does not rip itself apart if you leave
the paper on while erasing. It feels nice and soft without being too flexible to
be useful. The holder is pretty and nice to look at (If looks are important to
Cons: Gets dirty easily for some reason. Does not -always- erase well. Tough to
erase small areas precisely without taking out half of the drawing/writing
So I'd say for a buck fifty, it's a nice eraser that's aesthetically pleasing,
but it's not perfect.
I love scented pens. They keep me awake during slow classes. That said, these
pens have lovely wet ink and smell nicee. But the front label looks ... like
something someone printed with a cheap printer as the other reviewer said. I
hope this is a genuine set.
I have an unfortunate habit of breaking lead since I tend to get nervous. This
lead holds up to it well and works wonders in my kuru toga pencil. I love the
color and design of the case too. It's very well worth it, especially if you
smudge writing, dislike grey clouds on notebook paper or break lead tips like
I wish I had listened to the review that pointed out the staining. :( Even
though it never got wet, it stained my white foam eraser into oblivion, stained
my Alpha Gel Kuru Toga pencil's grips badly and the erasers of my erasable gel
pens. I wish I had noticed it sooner... I'm not sure what I can do for my
pencils now. Oh well. I'd get the blue or beige version of this instead.
