First let me say that I have NO clue what a "lead holder" is and it's function.
I have a voracious need to collect all styles of mechanical pencils, but had
never heard of a lead holder until I found this site. Can you write with them?
I'm just a little confused. If someone could explain the usage of these, I'd
really appreciate it.
I purchased a few of these erasers about a year ago and have had fantastic luck
with them. I've since tried the other erasers shown here at JetPens but none
compared really. They actually hold up. All the other stick style erasers I've
tried all back into the tube when you try to use them (I'm a little heavy
handed) but these Ain erasers hold up remarkably well. I completely recommend!
Beautiful pencil through and through. The price was just right and the weight
and balance of the pencil is remarkable. The looks of the pencil are very
unique and stylish. I'm glad I bought one of every color because I think these
will go like crazy once they catch on. Superior product for the price and the
mechanism for advancing lead is very smooth! Nice job with this one!
Very poorly designed for the pencil user in mind. There are no instructions on
how to refill the pencil nor does it look as if it will hold more than two
sticks of lead. The pens write fine, but I purchased it to be primarily a
pencil and that's just not working for me. Too bad I purchased two of them.
They do not come in any type of packaging that would offer directions for use
Smooth beauty this one is! This Azure Blue completed my collection of these
fine mechanical pencils. I own all four now and hold on to them with greedy
delight. They're a little on the hefty side, but I personally like that about
the pencil. It's just a delight.
Being in college I do a LOT of writing and I can honestly say that I've tried
just about every pencil out there. I ordered this one because my favorite color
is orange but was mildly surprised at it's looks, feel and functionality. I
have an $80 pencil that doesn't feel as good as this in my hand! I've now
ordered one in every color and you just can't beat the price!
I have never been so disappointed in a product before now. While I must admit
that this lead puts down a beautiful dark line, it has a penchant for smudging
really bad and breaks at every turn of the pencil. I had high hopes for this
lead but as I said, am disappointed. Coming from a product that normally sells
for about 3.00 for the same amount of lead to this at nearly 5.00 per tube?
What's the extra 2.00 for? Don't waste your money!
I am not at all impressed with this lead. I write a lot for college and using
this lead was labor-intensive. It isn't smooth like some of the other leads.
So far I feel Tombow blows them all out of the water.
