These are decent erasers...., June 1, 2013These are decent erasers. They erase well, but not the best. They produce a lot
of debri and wear down a little bit fast. They are good for the top of Kuru Toga
mechanical pencils, but not my first choice for erasing.

This and the 1.0mm are..., June 1, 2013This and the 1.0mm are the best drawing markers in the world. Super smooth, no
bleed through and no fraying....and the best part - no odor. Yes they are
permanent, but they're oderless, long lasting, and make a very bold mark.
Highly Recommended

My favorite drawing pens..., February 21, 2013My favorite drawing pens of all time! Glad to see that JetPens finally has them!
Very nice pens, they are smooth (much smoother than sharpies) and rich in black
color. The best part is that they don't bleed through and they are completely
odorless! I ran out of ink in the 0.3 and the 0.4 sizes first because I used
them for shading. Of course if you shade your entire drawing with the 0.6 or the
1.0 them you WILL obviously get bleed through. But for regular drawing these
pens don't bleed through your paper. I used the fatter sizes to draw large-scale
cartoons and caricatures until they ran out of ink some months ago. I still have
the 0.7mm mechanical pencil and the plastic eraser included in the set. The
pencil works well, but i added a grip on to it because it was a little thin to
hold, due to its odd grip design that gets thinner and thinner as it goes down
the pencil. Eraser under the cap works well, a little loose after you pull it
out though.
Great pens overall! If you like manga, cartooning, or outlining your drawings in general, then get these pens....you won't be sorry! Highly Recommended! |

I ran out of the B grade..., February 21, 2013I ran out of the B grade today, so I decided to give the 2B a try. They work
really well.....not much of a difference between the B and this 2B, I actually
don't notice it at all. I expected this one to be darker, but it wears down just
as fast as the B. Nonetheless, I really enjoy these leads, they are super smooth
and are the only 2mm brand I've tried besides Staedtler. Overall, nice leads for
drawing, sketching, and just doodling around. If you have any doubt in your mind
that these leads are not quality ones, because of their price, get that out
right now! This series of leads is great: super smooth, strong, and
long-lasting. Highly recommend the B and 2B versions of it.

This is a great lead..., December 25, 2012This is a great lead pointer. I use it for my Creative Mark clutch pencil. Even
though it is a 5.5mm sharpener, it still sharpens 5.6mm leads really well. The
black paint on it is very nice and doesn't look like it will scratch off.
Although, I really wish it had a little opening in the back somewhere to empty
out the shavings. I have had to tap the back of it several times to get all the
shavings out, which is kind of annoying. It sharpens the lead to a very accute
point, like some pre-sharpened 2mm leads. Although it works really well, it
would be better if it produced a longer point.

This is great ink. My..., December 25, 2012This is great ink. My Pentel Pocket Brush Pen has been out of ink for three
months, so I was really happy to get these for Christmas. The ink is very black
and dries really quickly. I'll accidentally place my hand over the line I just
drew and it won't smear, thats how fast it dries. I wish the box came with more
refills, but four of them should still last me a long time.

I just got this sharpener..., December 25, 2012I just got this sharpener today and I love it! It sharpens really smothly and
soesnt break the points, like some other sharpeners do. I mainly got this to
sharpen my 2mm lead holders and my 3.15mm Worther Shorty Pencil. I thought the
lead pointers on this sharpener were just somethign extra and wouldn't be the
best. Boy was I wrong! It gave an amazingly long point to the leads to! This is
the best sharpener I've ever had. Its good for lead holders and regular wooden
pencils. Recommended.

I just got this pen today..., December 25, 2012I just got this pen today and I really like it! The nib is pretty flexible for a
"hard" brush pen. It is not as hard as i thought it would be, but that doesn't
bother me. What bothers me is that you cant't draw as fast with it as you can
with the soft version of this pen, which I also reviewed. This pen tends to lay
a dry line when used to fast. But the ink is still very black and flows
magnificantly. This brush pen has more of a felt tip, but since the tip is
narrow, you can here a slight "snag" on the page when you draw with it. It
doesnt go as smoothly and quickly as the soft version. On the side of the pen is
a little window, where you can see the ink, but it may be hard to spot at first
glance, for it blends in with the dark blue body of the pen. This is convenient,
so you know when it is almost out of ink, because having a dry pen can ruin your
drawing, but thankfully, this pen lets you know how much ink you have left.

I just got this pen today..., December 25, 2012I just got this pen today and I really like it! The nib is really flexible and
allows you to move it quickly across the page. The ink is very black and flows
magnificantly. This brush pen has more of a felt tip, which is why the ink
doesn't skip when you work with it. You can go as fast as you can without any
interuptions. On the side of the pen is a little window, where you can see the
ink, but it may be hard to spot at first glance, for it blends in with the black
body of the pen. This is convenient, so you know when it is almost out of ink,
because having a dry pen can ruin your drawing, but thankfully, this pen lets
you know how much ink you have left. The only negative thing (to some people) is
the sound of this pen. It makes a slight sqeaky noise when you draw with it,
usually when you go really fast with it. I dont find this annoying, which is why
it gets five stars, but it might differ for others.

I bought this product..., June 23, 2012I bought this product from a local Michael's.
Now onto specifics/quality: The pen itself comes empty with dry bristles under the cap. One of the refills it comes with must be firmly inserted into the tip unit. Then you are left with only one refill:(....so buy some more here online! The quality of the pen is amazing! The ink flows nice and smooth, but only when you move slowly. The reason I only give this 4 out of 5 stars, is because when you move fastly with the pen, it has a bit of a dry-brush effect...the marks will not be clear, so move slowly! Overall, great brush pen - buy it;) WARNING: Ink is permanent and will change its performance depending on the pressure or the temperature of the air! |
