Love the ink and the feel of this pen, though I find the 0.05mm to be a little
scratchy to my liking. I press pretty hard with my pen as I write, so if you
share a similar writing style, consider a slightly larger width. I do like the
sturdiness of the pen and the point—I have never felt like it could break if I
pressed too hard. Not the most comfortable grip of any pen I've used, but I
don't find it bothersome. Overall a great needle point pen!
This is a great pencil, but somewhat lighter than I expected. Keep in mind, my
favorite pencil of all time is the Rotring 600. I love the appearance and and
that the lead continues to advance with a well-designed way to post the cap.
The Tombow Zoom mechanical pencil also has a similar feature, but the Kerry
feels much more solid with the cap posted. The one warning I would give to
those considering this pencil is that it tends to scratch quite easily. If you
want to keep it nice, I wouldn't toss it into your pocket with metal items or in
a pencil bag with other metal pencils. Overall I would definitely recommend it!
This is a great pencil, but it was too light for my liking. I had hoped there
would be some more weight to it underneath the wood, but I was disappointed. I
prefer the weight of something like a Rotring 600. I was also not a fan of the
fact that the lead advancing button was flimsy plastic. The rest of the pen
seemed well constructed.
To me, this seems like a great pen if you want the wooden body. If you aren't
passionate about a good fit and feel like I am, you might really enjoy it.
