it writes smoothly, but leaves these kind of blobs as it writes. the ink doesn't dry very fast. i don't know if it's supposed to be that way though. i do like writing with it though. the blobs add this kind of personal touch.

pros:
light weight
nice finish
writes smooth

cons:
the grip is not grippy, it's smooth plastic
was hoping there'd be more threads for twisting.
doesn't take standard tradio/pulaman refills

i found the grip to be way too soft and 'mushy' and the ink died on me after a short use. would get new refills but i cannot find the pen now.

writes very well and smooth. very portable as well.
my only problem with it is that it's too small and i keep losing it! i've already lost two of them! only reason i bought another is because i have ink refills for it. i haven't even touched my third one yet, because i'm afraid of losing it.
also, sometimes the cap doesn't fit secure enough at the end and wiggles a little. i noticed that problem on my second one, but it fits pretty solid on my third one. the fit was even better on my first one.

words of wisdom, don't clip it on anything that may have potential to snag on something. the clip is sharp and can snag on clothing. it fell out of my pocket once because of the sharp clip.

writes better than my $40 pilot fountain pen. and i don't have to adjust my hand to get ink on paper. i love this pen. it's so lightweight and quality is real good. would be nice if they plugged up the hole so it can be converted into an eyedropper though. otherwise, it's a very solid fountain pen!

pen is okay. it stopped working on me the next day. i have no clue why, but i let it stand tip down for a couple hours and now it's somewhat back to normal.

4/5 only because of one thing--the cap keeps loosening when i carry in my pocket. i had to use some plumber's tape and it fixed the problem. it's a nice and compact pen overall. sometimes it would pop open if you carry it in your front pocket, which doesn't happen very often, but is nice to know. the coating is also very durable.

like all lamy products, it comes in a very nicely designed package. keep up the good work jetpens and lamy! hope to see more lamy products in the future!

it's a good multi pen, but i very much prefer the zebra clip-on series multi-pens. the clips are just so much sturdier and the pen feels more durable than the dr. grips. the dr grip is still a good pen, but being the same price as the zebra, i choose zebra.

i like it a lot. it's comfortable in hand and has a nice weight to it. only flaw with it is the tip is pretty flimsy. i dropped it by accident from a short distance and it bent. i couldn't get the lead out. luckily, i was able to bend it back to normal.
