Jetstreams are the only ballpoints I feel really deserve 5 stars, this one
especially so. The red-black is really amazing. The only downside is the price:
I'm not going to spend this much for a ballpoint very often, even an excellent
This is a pretty shade of purple, but on regular notebook paper the ink tends to
spread out and make your lines broader than the tip, even with quick strokes.
(This is the case for some other Sharpie ultra-fine colors as well).
This is a really, really, great writing pen. The green ink is a good shade and
it glides across the page like a gel pen. I plan on picking up the blue and
black pens in my next order. I like that it can be refilled with a cartridge--I
wish more pens did this. It will bleed through to the back side of notebook
paper, but it won't get on the next page.
This is basically a regular-sized Sharpie that doesn't bleed through paper as
much. It will prevent you from writing on the back side of a sheet of notebook
paper, though. I'll probably pick up some other colors later. It is comfortable
to write with.
This is probably the nicest-writing inexpensive blue-black gel pen. The line is
slightly wider than a 0.7mm G-2, but arguably smoother (and the G-2 is very
smooth). I prefer the feel of the G-2 body though, so luckily the Sarasa's ink
cartridge fits into a G-2 with no problem.
Writes like any Jetstream (the best inexpensive ballpoint pen in my opinion) and
the color is very nice. It's black with a green tinge. The only complaint I have
is that the clip if somewhat flimsy; I bent mine and they're impossible to bend
back into shape.
