Ah... this pencil is just wonderful. I have a whole bunch in green, pink, and
blue for sketching. The colors are bold and bright (just like the picture they
posted above) - and because they are not graphite-colored, you can very easily
lineart or ink your work over it. It writes very smooth, while giving you the
crisp controlled lines you look for in a mechanical pencil. Amazing product, and
This little kit can be a lifesaver! Jams can happen with mechanical pencils, and
they are really frustrating to try and fix. The cleaning rods are a simple and
effective way of dealing with jams. Worry-free. Get this if you use mechanical
pencils, kay? ;)
A WONDERFUL pencil! I've been searching for colored mechanical pencil leads for
so long, and these Pilot Color Eno pencils were quite the find. The lead creates
soft, but sharp lines. I use it to sketch - I reccommend the bright blue and
green lead for sketching, because they are very vivid, but your ink will cover
it nicely. As for the pencil itself, it is very comftorable in the hand. The
'gummy' grip is nice as well. The eraser is great for emergancy detail erasing,
but will wear down quickly.
If you're an artist and want to try a mechanical pencil for your sketching,
these pencils are just the thing. ^^
This is a very attractive mechanical pencil body. But each time I've had one,
it's gotten a terrible jam and is rendered unusable unless you have a clean out
rod! If you are willing to stop and fix your pencil every so often, the design
of the Ohto Tasche is gorgeous and, despite its slimness, is very comftorable to
write or draw with.
As a person who prefers mechanical pencils to traditional ones, I was absolutely
thrilled by the Pentel Sharp Kerry. Its design is attractive, sleek, and
functional; I've never had a jam with this! I was very impressed by the
smoothness of the lead advancing mechanism. It gives you the perfect amount of
lead, as well.
The Kerry won't let you down, and it'll look pretty to boot!
This pencil case is the best I've ever owned - I bring it everywhere! The
material is very durable. The bright blue handles and zipper are really
appealing and easy to find in a dark bag! It's small enough to be chic, but
large enough to hold all of my pencils, pens, and erasers. There is a small
zippered compartment on the base which I use to hold pencil refills.
My advice is to absolutely give this case a chance. You'll love it!
