This pen is great. But, this price from JetPens stinks. I have bought these for years, and this version is just a souped up version of the lead holder but you can get it for lower on other sites.

The lead works great on thin paper as a highlighter. I use it mainly for scripture marking.

I really like Lamy pens because the design is so good, and they are durable. I thought I would love this fountain pen, but found that the nib was a bit scratchy for my taste. I'm thinking of purchasing a larger nib to swap out to see if this makes a difference for me.

Also, I don't always write with a heavy hand, but when I do, the scratchiness is very evident, even on my Rhodia paper. And, although I love the design, I can't use this for long note-taking sessions because the grip is so hard. So, I use it for short notes and such. My fav fountain pen for long note-taking sessions is my Pelikan P55 Future fine tip.

If you don't often have fatigue in your hands when writing for long periods of time, this is a great pen.

This is the HB lead I've been looking for all my life. Smooth, very little smear if any, and strong! I just ordered the HB Soft and B as well. I annotate in the margins as I read, and prefer to use pencil on the books that have thin paper (my scriptures). This lead is the best for that purpose that I have found.

Blue black is my favorite ink color overall. It's a good all-purpose color but distinguished. This version flows well, and is smooth, but it's a tad lighter than I like. Still, I'll buy it again, because it doesn't appear that I can get my favorite blue-black in a cartridge: Pelikan. I also really wish the Kaweco inks were available in a large capacity size, but I understand why since their pens are shorter and take the international size cartridges.

Really like this shade of purple, which does have a hint of black. Aubergine is an appropriate name for it. I just wish it were available in a large capacity size like the Pelikan "long" cartridges. Smooth going down, and a good signature color.

Excellent, bold black ink. Love the "long" capacity. Previously purchased blue black which I love, but it's not available now? Please restock blue-black in the long capacity! It's my fav color overall, and a good version of it among all inks I've tried.

Good, basic fountain pen. I have a blue medium nib, and a red fine nib now. The medium is more like a broad, and the fine, a medium. The blue cap doesn't stay on as well as the red, but both are great as I usually just carry in a bag upright. I'd like to see a screw on cap though. Good value overall, and very smooth.
