These pens have been around for awhile but I've just gone back to them. I know a lot of people use them in zentangle and drawing. I love them because they're waterproof. Lately I've been using them with watercolor. They work great because the pen doesn't bleed when water is added. I have them in all sizes and colors. I love the smaller sized pens because you can really get great detail with them.

I love this pen. I have several in this size and refills to keep me going. I use it in art journaling quite often. It doesn't write over acrylic paint very well but if your using paper it works great. You can write in a lot since you can get such small lettering with it. I write very large normally but with this pen I seem to write smaller. It's a nice change. Would recommend to anyone who likes a fine line.

This is my first Lamy Safari pen. I love it. The color is great. The color is just as described. I love the way it writes and have been using it in my journal daily. I'm now a fountain pen convert. I will be adding more of these to my collection in the future.

The Croquis pocket series...

The Croquis pocket series S 163 is supposed to be ideal with watercolors. I used my water brush on one of the pages and the page immediately buckled and some of the color went through the back onto the next page. I'm not extremely generous with my water because I usually wet my color and put it on the lid of my container. This was using pan watercolors and Micron pens. I'm not too worried about the buckling but I don't like the paper underneath taking on color from the previous page.

This is the best white pen ever. It writes over acrylic paint and it's a bright white not a muted white like most white pens. I use it over and over and always have a lot of these on hand. Once you get it you will be hooked.
