Nice pen, easy to load...., January 4, 2011Nice pen, easy to load. I like this version of the Coleto multi pen just because
it seems a bit sturdier than the initial multi versons. I like the choice of
solid colors. I am waiting on the metallic black to come back in stock.

Very disappointed in..., January 16, 2010Very disappointed in both color and quality. I pull my inks up using a medicinal
syringe and could not understand the resistance I was getting when trying to
extract this ink. I lifted the needle from the bottle and there was stringy
sludge. In fact, the bottom had a lot of sludge. I pulled out as much as I could
using the syringe then shook the bottle. The ink then seemed ok and I put it in
one of my lamy's. So far so good. I also found this problem with Dakota red but
found the problem in the FP. I could not understand why I began having ink flow
problems with one of my pens. After examining the nib I cleaned off bits and
pieces of sludge. I took the nib off and blew out a bunch of tiny matter. This
ink worked fine for months...I examined the inside of the ink cap and more
sludge. This is too bad because I love the color. I never use to have problems
with this brand but lately it seems the quality is changing.

Love the extremely dark..., January 16, 2010Love the extremely dark purple, great for those who like more conservative
colors. Though I have found sludge in two of the private reserve inks, I am
satisfied that I was not pulling out strings of ink when pulling the ink up in
my syringe.

Indeed a beautiful color...., January 16, 2010Indeed a beautiful color. I have began using the J. Herbin inks and I would rank
them with Noodlers inks in quality, but easier on the wallet. I am also a user
of Private reserve which I have become disappointed in, finding sludge in
several of the colors. This is my third purchase of Herbin inks and definitely I
am going to buy more colors.

I purchased the orange..., January 16, 2010I purchased the orange large case and really loved how sturdy it appeared to be,
as well as its ability to care a bunch of lamys. However, before purchasing the
black case, I was curious as to how sturdy the zipper was if overstuffed. Would
the stitching rip, would the zipper come off its tract. Not that I encourage
overstuffing, but I overstuffed the case to the max and managed to closer the
zipper without damage to the case or zipper itself. Thus, I felt satisfied that
indeed this was a sturdy product, able to hold up in the roughest of situations,
good for students or those who don't baby their tools. The outside wipes clean
quickly (if needed) and can take a beaten without showing off too many scuffs. I
am pleased with both my purchases and I do believe they will be in use a very
long time.

sets and am pleased.

These pens are great...., December 28, 2009These pens are great. I like the non-traditional colors that are usually
reserved for highlighters.
