I absolutely love this nib and use it daily to address envelopes and do
lettering. It's very flexible, so if you have a heavy hand it might not be the
nib for you.... it's like night and day between this one and the Nikko G nib.
That one is so stiff.
I just ordered a bottle of this for my girlfriend and myself. She couldn't wait
to get home to write with it and nor could I after receiving it in the mail and
delivering it to her right away. The NEXT day in the mail, I got a copper
envelope addressed in this WHITE ink! It is so nice! I love the way it sits up
on the paper and is glossy. It takes a little longer to dry...right out of the
bottle, not diluted at all, but it has such a nice effect on black paper. Its'
very opaque. I used it with a calligraphy dip nib/pen and found it to flow very
easily and make very crisp lines. The only thing I don't like about it is it
doesn't give the TINIEST, hairlines like some inks do, but they are pretty fine.
I'd give it 5 "stars" if that were the case, but other than that, I think it's
perfect for what I want to use it for. I can't wait to try it on glass and other
materials like it said you could use it for. I will refer this to all of my
other calligraphy friends in Texas and in the country! Trish Taylor
I love these pens for fine tuning watercolors and for making very, very thin
lines. I use them, also to fill in very small gaps that my calligraphy pen left.
LOVE it!!!! The Signo .18 is also a great pen.... even smaller than this one if
you can believe that! This is needle fine.
