This is a great notebook with excellent paper... except for the fact that it has
an incredibly weak binding. The pages barely stay in. I've only had it for half
a day and the first page tore out, and the next pages are ripping out at the
ends. I wouldn't suggest taking this out with you, unless you're the kind of
person who likes to tear out pages.
I love this ink. It's probably one of my favorites. The color is lovely and
muted - definitely more of an olive color - and shades beautifully. Most of the
J. Herbin swatches provided don't match up. I'd suggest finding true-to-color
swatches, which will make for a much better experience!
This is a great pen! At first, I was a tad confused; I simply dropped the
refills in and tried to use it. I found out that you have to push in the refill
into the holes in the pen body; you'll hear a click sound to let you know that
you've done the right thing. After that, it wrote perfectly. I don't hear any
rattling, and so far it's been treating me just fine.
A truly wonderful fountain pen. The Kaweco Sport Classic - at only four inches
long, capped - is a small and dainty pen that packs a punch. Although the size
may be an issue for some people, I\'ve noticed that it\'s comfortable posted or
unposted. The fine nib that runs true to size is smooth and buttery across
paper, even cheap copy paper. Not only that, but the pen seems able to take some
stress with a nice, even weight. Aesthetically, the pen is beautiful with a gold
logo on the top and body of the cap, and a matching gold nib. It\'s truly
beautiful, you can pick up many!
I think the ink runs out a little too fast. I don't use ballpoint pens all that
often though, so it may just be me. I estimate that you can use the same refill
for 2-3 months. Pick up a few extra refills if you purchase the pen!
I borrowed this ink from an uncle of mine to write a letter for a good friend
overseas. I'm not a big fan of colors other than black - the richness of a good
black ink makes me so happy - but when I used this I thought I had fallen in
The blue is, well, blue! A truly rich and wonderful one. I didn't want to let it
go, but I was forced to return it to my uncle.
If you're a fan of J. Herbin and blue, I would definitely recommend that you
pick this up. Your letters will be beautiful - I promise!
I must say I am very pleased with my results. The ink is a excellent dark and
rich black. I really enjoy writing with it whenever I get chance.
The line is approximately 0.7mm thick. I'm not a fan of thick lines (0.5mm is my
friend!), but if you enjoy bold and disposable fountain pens, picking this up
would be an excellent idea.
And let me tell you, these pens last a LONG time. I used one for seven to eight
months. Don't judge the ink by the clear window on the side! Even if it looks
empty, there's a good month left in the pen.
