The fine nib on this is FINE. Very nice pen for the money. The nib is a bit scratchy, though that seems to be individual variation...some are scratchier than others.

Smooth writing, and nice ink. Doesn't blotch. Very like the Precise V5's imo. A very good pen, though the cap, to me, is a bit bulky.

I love the precise V5's, so I was so happy to see a refillable model. This writes very similar to the originals: nice, dark ink and smooth flow. Doesn't blotch at all. The tip was a bit scratchier on the paper than the other V5's I've used, but that could just be individual variation.

Very smooth and dark ink. It almost feels marker-like over the paper...not scratchy. It's a touch broader of a stroke than I'd like for regular writing, but that's my only beef with it.

Great fountain pen for the money. Smooth writing, nice ink. Only thing is that it IS tiny. Anyone with big hands would probably have problems with it. Even with my small hands, I had to get used to writing with it.

I love these pens. Smooth to write with, nice dark ink. The erasable aspect is fine, imo. It doesn't completely erase every trace of ink, but if I'm just writing over the same space, I can't tell where I made the mistake unless I really look. It does a lot better than most "erasable" pens I remember, and better than I was expecting.

Unfortunately, this pen leaked like a sieve from the get-go. Left it sitting for the ink to filter into the nib, and it leaked all into the cap. Setting the back of the nib against any porous surface wicked the ink right out. Not sure if it's a design flaw or if I just got a dud. It's sad, since it has a nice look, smooth-writing nib, and even their "medium" nib was fine for writing.
