Worst damn lead pointer I've ever used. If you plan on sharpening any 2 mm lead
that is softer than a B (which includes all colored leads) they will just break
in the sharpener. It has no stability. And if you do sharpen without breaking
the lead, the point is very dull. Very. Get the Sun-Star SharPits sharpener. You
will be way more pleased with the results.
For an artist, these pens are way better than the High-Tec C pens. They have a
sturdy point, and they write exceptionally well over any graphite or pencils.
The High-Tec C pens get kinda faulty when inking over pencils. They also dry
fast and don't smudge.
A MUST HAVE for any kind of artist who uses 2 mm lead, or blue pencils. It
varies in darkness according to how much pressure you put, and the best part is
it erases better than any color pencil I have used. Even better then the
Prismacolor Col-erase or the Verithins.
The best 2 mm lead sharpener I have ever used. There may be some other good
ones, but for those rotary ones, they usually only fit one brand or one lead
holder. With this, it will sharpen lead from any holder. It also makes the
FINEST POINT, I have a Steadtler rotary one and it doesn't even get as sharp as
I have tried many different 0.3 leads, and by far this one is the BEST. Of
course it will break because its so fine, but it break way less than any other
brand I have tried. As an artist though, the selling point was that it does not
smear nearly as much as other brands, nowhere close.
Just get it. You will not be disappoint. The black one is 6 dollars cheaper I
think, but this pen is amazing in red. Just be very careful with the lead guide,
like any non-retractable lead guides, its fragile. Other than that, its a solid
