I love this pen, particularly the black one. I wish they had more colors
available but since I've been using black quite a bit it's not a big issue for
me. It writes well without skipping even though it produces a thin line. I
haven't found it scratchy and I use it every single day.
Amazingly smooth to write with and it started writing right away. No scribbling
on the paper needed. I have more expensive pens that aren't as smooth as this
pen. Hard to believe this is so inexpensive.
The colors are just stunning and clear. The application is terrific, the pens
don't drag and it takes very little pressure to apply color. I just ordered a
second set (the summer colors) because these are part of my travel art kit.
They can be blended added water color and you can lighten the colors by adding
water and they dry fast. It's so convenient to be able to do watercolor with a
pan. Love these
I just ordered my second one of these - A pen with 5 colors is great and with
two of these I'm set for on-the-go sketching. I love that it has a pencil
refill also. The colors are very, very good and the golden yellow color is the
first yellow that makes sense for a pen - You can see it. The only negatives
are the top of the refills aren't colored so figuring out what you're advancing
isn't that easy. Yes, there is a window but I can't always tell what's sliding.
That said the positives outweigh the negatives by a mile for me!
I love this refill. I have it in one slot and the eraser refill in another --
How this works isn't clear right off and I threw out the first one because I
didn't know how to advance the lead. I assumed it was defective - You have to
click down on the grey tab to advance (the tab that sets the refill into
position.) The eraser works the same way. I did a video on it a few months
ago, if you'd want to see how to do it http://youtu.be/7IKO-jqJqPY
