For a near five dollar investment I would have expected more. For a pen of 0.5mm width it does not write particularly smoothly. The rubber grip works well, but the overall look and feel is probably inferior to the Pilot G-2 Pro. Ink is OK, and dark, with just a bit slow drying.

The color of this pen is black with a hint of blue, or mid-night blue. Being dark helps out the color consistency of writing strokes, which works for me. Ink quality is very good, and the ink is delivered at a steady rate.

The grip is thin and all plastic. If you want a rubber grip, you can purchase an additional Pentel Hybrid-Technica 0.3mm or 0.8mm non-retractible pen, and switch the pen body.

Nice color, and smooth feel of the pen is appreciated. The ink does appear to be slow drying. Make sure everything is dry before you close the notebook!
