This is a great beginner pen, but its awesome even if you're a fountain pen snob
as well. Very easy to maintain, and comfortable to write with. If you tend to
write with a heavy hand, I recommend the Bold nib choice for comfort.
A rich dark grey with a subtle sheen of gold dust within it that you can see
once it dries. (It settles in the bottle very quickly so be sure to agitate it
before you refill.) Its nice, but I'm not sure it is worth the price, unless you plan on using it
I have a billion Lamy Allstars, and this is the first 'higher' end Lamy I've
purchased. I really like the weight of it, and the nib is very nice, smooth. I
think I will be using this pen to do a lot of writing. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I'm not too sure about the refill
system of this pen. Its awkward to refill because you can't see what you're
doing- the twisting motion that you use to suck up the ink could end up
unscrewing the front part completely. No way to tell how much ink you have in
the pen. Despite this, I still recommend this pen, although not for a beginner.
This is my go-to green ink. Its not too neon, not too dark. It's a beautiful
leafy green on the page. If you are looking for a green to put you in a good
mood, this is it. The color is rich, and with Diamine being so reasonably
priced, you don't have to feel guilty about actually USING it. I love looking
back in my journal entries and seeing pages and pages of my writing in this
Super cute and lovely smooth paper, but honestly too small for what I wanted it
for. It is about the size of your hand. I didn't read the dimension size of it
before I got it, but the price is cheap so no big deal. I'm still giving it five
stars because its still nice.
Old school fine-line marker pen. Its been around for a long time. I gave this as
a gift to a friend of mine that hoards them like gold, she loves them so much.
The colors pop on the page and write like a dream.
Lots of nice smooth paper in this journal. I don't feel guilty scribbling in it.
I use it for making notes on different video games that I play. Good size for
portability, but its not the easiest to write in because of the thickness of the
journal, it doesn't lay flat.
