Overall- pretty excellent...., April 5, 2013Overall- pretty excellent. When this is in stock here on JetPens, I usually get
a couple packs because it is that good. Creamy and beautiful light shade of
blue.
PROS Light blue is non-repro. I have used this for sketches and my lines do not show up in a black and white copier. I supposed one could use a color copier and this might show up, but I have not tried it. CONS I do have *some* breakage when I use this lead in my Pentel GraphGear 1000. However, when I use it in my Uni Kuru Toga automatic pencil I have not noticed breakage. I wish they offered it in a 0.7, they don't so I have to go with Pilot Color Eno Mechanical Pencil Lead - 0.7 mm - Soft Blue for heavier lines. |

This is my fav brush..., April 1, 2013This is my fav brush pen. I have tried more expensive brush pens, but this one
has everything I like! It is compact, glides across the page effortlessly and is
responsive to the pressure I apply to it. It does fine and thicker lines very
nicely for me (I may have a heavy hand though). I would highly recommend it. I
have already bought several, and have even given them away as gifts!

Does anyone know how..., September 29, 2011Does anyone know how an iPad fits in here? I know it dimensionally is 1 cm too
small, but is it workable? Anyone brave enough to find out?

I bought this in green...., August 15, 2011I bought this in green. I must say- I still cannot believe how much it holds- A
TON! I thought I needed a larger pen case to cram all of my pens, pencils, lead
holders, erasers and such throughout the day. I was wrong. This almost holds too
much to stuff into my work bag. I did not try putting pencils in the bag as I
did not want to mark the fabric and/or my other writing instruments. I do like
this bag for an all purpose stuff everything in it now and sort it out later
bag.... I am just too overwhelmed by all it carries and have trouble remembering
all that I have in it. (That's probably just me)

I love this pen. I have..., April 26, 2011I love this pen. I have bought Copic fountain pens, Multiliners, Multiliner SPs,
Sailor ink-bars, Lamy fp and more.. (yes i am addicted to pens. and yes there
are worse things to be addicted to.)
This pen was bought for me by a dear freind. He also bought himself 1 to try. He has had some problems with his pen, and warned me that it takes some time to get flowing nicely. As soon as i put pen to paper, it flowed beautifully in controlled, even lines. No problems at all. NOT ONE! why? Because i hold my hand at a 30 degree writing angle and he doesnt. When he tries to use my fountain pens they become scratchy for him due to his angle of the pen. If this pen doesnt write for you, try angling your pen differently. I love this pen, and would hate for anyone to get the wrong impression about it. I am a social worker and have found that the only way i can get clients to stop stealing my pens is to write with a fp! This one is my all around fav go to pen. |

GREAT BRUSH PEN
I..., April 19, 2011GREAT BRUSH PEN
I love this brush tip pen. I have used mine for a couple months now with NO FRAYING. It delivers clean lines, works great with my Copic Markers and reacts appropriately to light and medium pressure (lighter thinner lines and then a bit thicker and heavier lines). I do not know what kind of pressure previous reviewers were putting on this product... I can only think that they had very heavy hands. I like this so much that I would like one in every color. |

I love this color. It..., April 7, 2011I love this color. It is bright and the ink glides across the page in my Lamy
Demonstrator FP. Took a little coaxing to get it to flow nicely at first, but
since then no problems at all! I would definately buy this color again.

Even with the bad reviews,..., April 7, 2011Even with the bad reviews, I decided to try this pen. Bought some Blue/Black
refills to go with it. I figured at only $3.00 who cares if it isnt so great,
right?
wrong. The problem is that with this pen it COMPLETELY frustrates you. It doesnt write to begin with, so you pinch and poke and coax the ink into coming out. It still wont budge. You get determined one afternoon, roll up your sleeves and attack it with everything you have! You get some ink to come out..... And then it stops.. I stored it tip down (Gasp!) for over a week, checking it daily, no, still wont work. Finally, it writes without a ton of effort to start it, but i store it upside down, and recap it when i pause to think what i am going to write next. Is $3 worth the time and frustration to you? I say give it to a friend to get it started for you and then, just maybe it might be worth it ;) |

i bought this pen looking..., March 29, 2011i bought this pen looking for a good sepia tone to draw with. i love copic
products and fountain pens (my Lamy is my fp of choice). This pen would not
write for anything. I even had a friend try it and he couldnt get it to do
anything... Very scratchy, dried up, not worth $1, let alone $5... but JetPens
took my return and credited my account. They also agreed that i got a defective
pen, still, i wouldnt try this one again... Might try a wider black next time.
