The color of the pen body is a really pretty teal, which I love, but there's a
lot of rattling when I load the 0.28 Style-Fit cartridges into the body and on
the whole it feels a little flimsy. I've had a lot of problems with the
cartridges becoming unseated and falling forward into the front of the pen while
I'm writing, making me unscrew the cap and push the cartridges back into the
slots before I can keep writing. I'm going to stick to the Style-Fit single pen
bodies, because the cartridges themselves are great.
I have used this case exclusively for a semester and a half, tossing it around
from bag to bag and generally being pretty rough with it. I still have my metal
tabs and the case is in great shape. This case holds about 12 pens/pencils
totally comfortably, which was great for me because I color-code all my notes.
I got one red ink blotch on the inside front flap that hasn't come out, but I
have zero complaints about this case. It's great and it keeps me from lugging
too many writing instruments with me.
Awesome awesome awesome! I bought these because of the fine tip, and was
concerned about spending a lot of money on refills (reviews have said that the
ink runs out really fast). It does run out, but I have gotten through an entire
semester on two ink cartridges (and I take a LOT of notes). This is my go-to
I love how fine the point is, but sometimes the ink skips. I can always get it
running again, but it's irritating to have to stop writing to get the pen going
again. It doesn't happen all that often, though, and it seems to happen more
with certain colors (I never have a problem with the red, ever, but the blue
skips a lot).
I will admit, I was skeptical that these pens really were erasable. My
experience with "erasable" pens in the past has been that they were neither
erasable nor really pens. I went with the 0.4's because I have tiny handwriting
and wanted to use them for notes, but I was worried by the reviews that said
that the colors were washed out. I am happy to report that they are both really
and truly erasable and dark enough for color-coded notes. I love them.
