Amazing pen, it's almost surreal how good it is, the lines are so easy to
control, an excellent tool for your inking bag! Only downside I found is that
the ink isn't as black as the Pitt pens (which aren't as dark as actual india
ink) but not that bad really.
I've tried all the brands of the G-pen and I almost gave up on trying the Zebra
brand because the other nibs were so awful but I'm glad I didn't because I would
be missing on a truly great nib. It's very smooth and flexible, you can build
lines or just do it one stroke if you skillful with a nib. The oil is a big
issue due to the chrome finish, so be careful with the lighter or just use
Nibs that I got were chrome but the ones listed are copper, I don't know, label
on the nibs package seemed to be correct but they were just larger versions of
the hard nib, really not that flexible at all.
Problem with chrome crow quill nibs is that they don't flex like a 102 and will
just pierce the paper, really don't like these nibs.
I found this nib to be completely useless, it's too hard, catches on paper and
the ink flow isn't that great even after lighting the nib up. Chrome nibs aren't
my thing, you might like it if you have a need for very fine lines with low ink
flow like if you want to ink eyes or that sort of details.
