I bought this not for..., April 11, 2012I bought this not for pens/pencils, but for needlework tools, including those
for embroidery, crochet, knitting, and even a bone folder for origami. It holds
a staggering array of crochet hooks (but not knitting needles), measuring
devices, scissors, stitch markers, gauges, pom-pom makers, stitch holders, cable
needles (used to temporarily shift some stitches out of the way while making the
part where the cables cross), row counters, chibi full of yarn needles, and so
much more, in three different zippered compartments, two of which have pockets
for further organization. Nicely padded, this is an incredible, versatile piece.
I normally prefer my needlework tool holders to be handmade (by me, if possible) and very ornamental. However, this piece is simply too well designed. I never have to stop and swith out my essentials, depending upon what I am doing. I am seriously thinking of buying a second one for use with other tools. It is very well designed, and from a practical point of view, rises head and shoulders above the fancy leather ones. |

My experience with this..., August 17, 2011My experience with this pen is completely different than the other reviewer\'s.
The cap just will not stay on for love nor money, neither when it is posted for
writing nor when it is capped. For the $, I expected more, as I have paid as
third as much for much better pens. It is reasonably smooth when writing, but I
think it is headed for the garbage can. I am physically handicapped, and unable
to constantly crawl around on the floor looking for the cap, which goes flying
off with the slightest movement.

Incredibly smooth writer..., April 2, 2011Incredibly smooth writer for a low price! If you love the smooth, effortless
glide of fountain pens at their best but are having a budget crunch, try this
one out! It looks nice, too, but I am sorry that they are out of the green.

I still use notebooks..., March 29, 2011I still use notebooks to keep track of things in my household, and both the
26-holes and the silky-smooth paper are perfect for writing with a fountain pen,
which I prefer hands-down over other types. The subtle dots allow me to have
neat columns when I prefer. It is really superior filler paper, and would be
terrific for college student in the US, too -- no more pages tearing out at the
two or three measly holes.
I wish they had the full B5 package -- page protectors, pastel colored paper (to help identify papers as class notes, assigned homework, projects, etc.), and clipboard. |
