Nice chocolate brown color, smooth writing ink with no feathering and no bleed
through on good paper. A little pricey but most quality items are. You can find
a similar color and quality in Herbin inks.
Wonderful rich chocolate brown color with nice shading in a wet writer. I think
all fountain pen users agree that Iroshizuku is great ink but a little
overpriced. I love the color and performance of the ink but can get a similar
result from a Herbin ink at half the price. I probably won't buy again but will
enjoy the bottle I have.
The pen is fantastic as most Pilot pens are. This one has good weight and an
elegant style. Smooth nib writes a nice wet line. It's a shame JetPens doesn't
send with a converter as most other sellers do - especially with the higher
price here. One of my favorite pens, and I usually prefer piston filling pens,
but this one is fun to own.
There's no doubt that the ink is a good, quality ink. However, in person, this
ink is much more orange than it looks on the screen. I'd say it's a reddish
orange rather than an orange-toned red. If you're looking for RED go with
A very nice clay red color. This can be pinkish in a dry writing pen or very red
and clay-like in a wetter pen. Not as brown as I thought it might be, but still
nice. This ink is smooth and flows nicely though, as I said, depending on the
pen it can seem thin and lacking in saturation of color.
A great dark blue that reminds me of denim. Nice flow, like other Herbin ink,
less saturated than some and color can depend on the pen being used. Good
shading and color. Mixing in some Perle Noir made this into a top notch
