It's great! Lightweight, compact and doesn't feel flimsy at all. Now I have a
full-length ruler that is small enough to fit right in with my pens. The sort-of
protractor is a nice touch, although since it flexes a bit, the angles aren't as
precise as a real protractor.
My everyday notetaking pen. Consistent line thickness, fast drying speed, super
smooth writing experience. 0.3mm is super thin, perfect for mathematics (small
exponents with exponents with exponents with... ...with exponents.) I'm tempted
to go even smaller, but I'm happy with the 0.3mm. I've had a great experience
with all colors of this pen (except brown, but that's been discontinued), not
just the black. The black is a nice dark black, and not scratchy. The barrel is
very narrow, with a ridged grip. I prefer this type of narrow, rough grip but it
may not be for everyone.
I use black, dark green, and royal blue more than any other colors, with
I've been using Sliccies for years, and I'm a big fan of the 0.3mm. I'm not a
huge multi-pen user, since I don't like barrels with a wide diameter. This
multi-pen has the narrowest barrel of any I've seen; about the same as an
average regular-sized pen.
The main complaint I've heard about the Slicci pens is the barrel width, so this
would correct that problem for people that feel the Sliccies have too narrow a
barrel. Personally, this is a bit wider than I'm used to but still great. It
also has the ridged grip I'm used to, which I love.
The refills are different than those in the single color Slicci pens, and maybe
I have bad luck but my blue is skipping a bit. The black and green are great.
Overall, a fantastic pen. I'm worried that the eight Sliccies I normally carry
may end up in a drawer, replaced by this one thin black beauty.
