This was a surprisingly good white gel ink pen. I never expected to seriously consider using one in my artwork before now.

It covers ink from other pens and markers well and actual inks remarkably well.

I'll be endeavouring to keep these in stock for my own use.

I bought two Zebras along with two each of Sailor and Kuretake brush pens. In order, I preferred the Sailors most of all with the Kuretakes least.

These Zebras, fine and super-fine, have a nice stroke compared to the Kuretake's scratchy line, but has a similar grey/thin ink.

If jetpens are out of Sailor pens, I would get these Zebras as alternatives.

These are used for drawing, not writing.

I find the ink thin (grey), and the stroke scratchy and prone to gap during quick lines. I ordered two different Kuretake brush pens (this and the fine) this order and both made similar strokes

Not likely to try this pen or the brand again as a result.

Prefer the Sailor super fine tip to the fine end of this pen, but the 'brush' end produces a very nice stroke.

The ink is dark and flows very well from the larger brush, but gets a little scratchy and develops gaps in the middle of the stroke with quick strokes.

I would prefer to get the Sailor pocket medium when it's in stock, but this is a great alternative to that.

Nice dark ink that flows well. I'd argue that the super fine description is inaccurate. Medium fine would be more apt. I'll be buying more of these going forward.

Using these for inks/drawing, not writing.

I make an effort to try out every new Pentel pen or brush pen since I'm generally happy with their products. That wasn't the case with their Colour Brush line -- I found the ink too thick. difficult to get a consistent flow, slow to dry and it smudged well past the point it should have dried fully. Erasing stray pencil lines after using one could create a disaster.

I purchased both the fine and medium models of this new pen despite being concerned of the outward similarity to the Colour Brush. The similarity ends there; the ink flows well and isn't the goopy mess. There is still some post-drying smudging, so I'd still be cautious erasing, but I'll keep using these for a while to see how things progress as far as brush wear and ink consistency.

I'm quite fond of the Sharpie poster paint markers, so I made the mistake of thinking these were the same, but with a thinner tip. Sadly, if you ever bought an oil-based marker with exceedingly thin and rapidly absorbed ink, this is another one of those. It works fine on non-porous surfaces, but that's it.
