Not a traditional fountain...
Verified Purchase
Not a traditional fountain pen, the tip is a little odd, but once you get used to it is one of my new favorite pens. If you like using disposable fountains, but worry about dried out tips or ink going everywhere, this pen is for you. It's definitely worth a try.

The color on this pen...
The color on this pen is awesome, my favorite blue black.

Unfortunately, the plastic is brittle (for lack of a better word) and the caps especially have a tenancy to crack on you. Once the cap cracks, it doesn't stay on the pen well and the tip tends to dry out. I've bought 3 of these over the years and the caps cracked on two of them. One I dropped, but the other cracked just from normal use.

It's too bad. I love the pretty highlighters and love the idea of a refillable, disposable fountain pen.

Pretty cool pen, but...
Pretty cool pen, but I have a couple of concerns and probably won't order again.

The red is on the pink side, it's not a good deep crimson. Not really a problem, just need to be aware of it.

The other problem is the same problem I've had with all my preppy fountain pens, the plastic is brittle (for lack of a better word) and the caps especially have a tenancy to crack on you. Once the cap cracks, it doesn't stay on the pen well and the tip tends to dry out. I've bought 3 of these over the years and the caps cracked on two of them. These are extremely cool...
These are extremely cool pens. The colors are bolder than the older frixions and the eraser seems to work better. (I loved the old ones, these are even better!) These are extremely comfortable to write with and I thought I would miss the clip, but I don't really. I hope they come out with 0.5mm ones.

I found out something cool today too. It's not just friction that erases them, heat will too. I wrote on a piece of paper and then tried to print over it with our copy machine and it came out without the writting. This could be a problem in certain situations, but it could also come in handy to know.

Nice stick eraser, far superior to any round one I've every tried. It's a little soft for my tastes, but I'm happy with it.
