Pen writes well; smoother,..., May 12, 2011Pen writes well; smoother, to me, and less flowy than other bold point gel
refills yet flowier than 0.7's--what I get a gel bold for! But the mechanism
would not retract w/o playing with it--point would come out and stay at max
extension, unlike most RT mechanisms. And had to play with it to close. So, a
mixed bag/result. I will see if refill will fit another brand housing.

This is a really terrific..., May 12, 2011This is a really terrific write! The barrel is nothing special, unfortunately,
but not bad. But the pen writes smoother and more evenly than my current
favorite, the JetStream. No skipping or bad writing even though the cartridge is
still 1/3 full...yet. I am going to doctor around with it and see if it can fit
my Jetstream Premier body for the cushier grip! Great pen!

While obviously similar..., April 16, 2011While obviously similar to the the other Center of Gravity pens, this one seems
to have a softer grip, which is excellent, and more beveled at lower end of grip
which is nice too. Uses either the COG or older BRF15/25 refills. I agree with
previous reviewer, a switch to the Acroball refills would be terrific. But still
the best of the Ctr of Gravity pens, IMHO.

This is a GREAT grip..., March 1, 2011This is a GREAT grip in a mediocre pen; better with 1.0 mm refill (hard to
find!). And if they could make a sleeker version that is more appropriate for a
work setting, that'd be really nice.

less so than the gel premier.
Overall though I like (though am bored with, design/color wise) the Premier Jetstream (available in mainstream stores)...Maybe JetPens can get the JS Premier in other colors? Very good pen! |

I really want to like..., March 1, 2011I really want to like this line of pens; but can't say I do. To me, as other
reviewers said, line is too scratchy and not consistent. No typical gel pen
glide to it either. Ordered the upgrade from Jet Pens (retractable) and we'll
see if that's better.

Love the grip; nice to..., March 1, 2011Love the grip; nice to go softer once in awhile. This color is THE winner, so
much better than boring silver, as fellow reviewers have stated. I prefer the
Pentel gel refills in this which fit perfectly! A-/B+ pen.

With this pen, Pilot..., March 1, 2011With this pen, Pilot moves closer to a softer grip on their G2 series; that's my
biggest complaint about Pilot's gel pens, which I think are superior for writing
(only Pentel's 1.0 ener gel comes close, IMHO). I wrote to Pilot to congratulate
them on the grip, and asked if we could (please) expect more softer grips for
the G2 series...she directed me to the Center of Gravity pens, but many of us,
including me prefer gel ink. This pen is a B+...

This is a nice write,..., March 1, 2011This is a nice write, very similar to the older (and I guess gone) Pentel
Energel silvers with same point size. Ink ran out kind of quickly though...it
was in my main pen rotation for only 3-4 weeks when it ran out. Will try the
other one I bought (black) before I conclude anything though. Nice pen for those
of us who like broad tips...smooth flow is excellent.
