So glad I discovered this pen. The weight is evenly distributed, it writes very
smoothly and effortlessly as a gel should, and the line is a strong, true black.
The needle tip is also strong and solid for a heavy writer. The best part (and
one not mentioned in its description) is that the ink is archival quality, water
and fade resistant. A good buy.
This pen does write very smooth and leaves a crisp color, but so does my Uniball
Signo. The biggest drawback with this pen is that it is NOT water resistant in
the least. That means if I spill something or get caught out in the rain, my
notes smear well into the next page and there goes my nice crisp color. I want a
pen that I am comfortable writing checks with and signing legal documents as
well as taking notes and doodling. So I'll stick with my Signo.
I love the light, ergonomic style of this pen and the fact that the soft grip
extends further down the barrel. The barrel is just right, not too slender or
too chunky. The best part of all is the fabulous ink color that is suitable for
the office as well as more informal venues. The ink is waterproof, writes
smoothly, is highly readable and easy on the eyes, and never skips. My only wish
is for a greater ink supply.
One of my go-to pens -- I like the weight distribution of this pen and the dark,
rich, consistent ink flow. It is basically waterproof (seeps a little yellow
under water but ink does not blur at all). Also I have not noticed excessive
lint on the silicone grip that others have pointed out. It's all around a good
luxury pen and one that I keep my eye on.
