I have bought many brands of expensive, high-quality B-grade pencils (Tombow,
Palomino, Mitsubishi), and these Uni NanoDia pencils have surpassed all of them
in writing smoothness. I don't know what they put in the graphite, but it gives
the pencil a waxy glide that makes it a pleasure to write with. Considering the
high-quality and lower price this pencil compared to other well-known,
high-quality pencils, the Uni NanoDia pencils are an exceptional deal.
This is a very light and well-made drafting pencil that is comfortable to write
with. I like to write with drafting pencils. I just like the feel and look of
them. The only drafting pencils I don't buy are those that have knurled metal
grips, since they hurt my fingers. This pen has everything that I like in a
drafting pencil: it's light, has a very comfortable grip, is not too long or
short, and is reasonably priced.
This is a wonderful sharpener! I previously bought two Japanese sharpeners, each
for about the same price, but this one is the best. It's much sturdier, has a
higher quality sharpening mechanism, and produces a longer and sharper point.
It's also is much easier to hold while you're sharpening because the curved top.
I now wish I had bought this sharpener first instead of spending so much money
on the three other crank sharpeners that I own.
