it's a very nice blue and the lead is fairly soft so it feels very nice to draw
with and erases fairly easily if you need to do so.
the only thing i would advise people is to be careful what pencil you put it
into. when i first put a piece into one of my pencils, i guess it grabbed the
lead too tightly and would snap off the tip when it was pushing it out
not as good as sakura gelly roll's glitter pen.
they both have basically the same glitter, but this pen does not leave as much
on the paper. also, because of the tip, if you use it over pen that isn't
waterproof, it will completely smudge them. i don't run into that problem as
much with my gelly roll pens.
I have the black, green, light pink, and magenta pens apart from this one, and
this is by far my favorite. despite it being peach tart, i had expected the ink
to be a regular hot pink color like the grip, but it's a beautiful bright peach
the smell is really nice too. at first the scent was kinda... grainy? like an
overdone pie crust with too much flour, but that wore away after i had written
with it a bit.
important things to consider before buying this pencil:
- how heavily you write
- at what angle you write
- do you usually use cursive or print
i'm kinda disappointed that this pencil doesn't work for me. the rotation system
really does work, but unfortunately for me, i write too lightly to get it to
work, or sometimes i write at too flat of an angle for it to work. also, i tend
to write in cursive for the most part, and so there's less of a chance for me to
actually trigger the rotation.
in the end, i probably should have gotten a drafting pencil instead, also
because the barrel of this pencil is a bit too thick and light for my taste.
Kinda disappointed with this one.
As other reviews have said, the ink is more like a dark grey rather than black,
which i assume is to make it more easily erased, but that's the problem for me.
It isn't even that dark, and it still doesn't even erase completely. it does for
the most part, but whatever you wrote is still a bit visible no matter how much
I think I'm just a bit more disheartened about it because i also bought a green
one which /does/ erase completely, so this one really fails in comparison.
i think i'll just stick to the colored versions of this pen in the future.
