I also have this pen in blue and black, and they definitely do not disappoint.
The ink is a nice red for corrections and margin notes. As long is it's writing
over a few sheets of (cheap) paper, it's smooth. A little scratchy given the
fine point, but that's alright with me because I definitely love the finer
lines, solid inkflow, and comfortable grip. It's a lot more eco-friendly than
disposable ballpoints since it has refills too. :D I highly recommend this pen
I bought this pen to put in my purse with my checkbook -- I write big and need
all the help I can get with those small boxes! This pen is a great size for any
purse or even a wallet, and writes beautifully. It was a little more like a
rustic orange-brown than I was expecting, but it's still gorgeous. I would
highly recommend this pen -- great little writing utensil at a great price!
I just received this pen today and I am in LOVE! :) I am a student, so I need to
take legible notes in classes where I cannot type them onto my Mac. I also write
in cursive, which makes reading tiny notes on handouts very difficult with a fat
pen, which is what spurred me to try these smaller-pointed pens. The Jetstream
is unlike a normal ballpoint in that it writes wonderfully with smooth ink flow
and no skipping. The fact that it comes with refills is also a plus, as
disposable pens have always bothered me. I won't write with any ballpoint but
this one; highly recommended!
This pen is absolutely marvelous! During a trip to Germany a few years ago, I
noticed that EVERYONE had fountain pens. Even though they were super cool, I
didn't buy one while I was there. However, my interest in fountain pens was
recently restored, and the LAMY Safari looked like the perfect one. I just
received my pen today (thanks to JetPens fast shipping!), and it writes like a
dream - no globbing, overflow, or bleedthrough, is sturdy, and looks pretty
badass with the lemon yellow body, too. The extra fine nib is perfect for my
cursive writing, but I'll have to get used to not pressing so hard like I do
with my ballpoint pens, but I can tell that this pen will serve me well -- can't
wait to buy some inks and a converter. Thanks JetPens!
