I also find that these...
I also find that these pens are quite durable. Perhaps heavy handers might not want to purchase this type, but I have seen a few heavy hands write quite well with the .25 and the pen survived. I also have tried the unibit .18 and though the black and blue write well, I did not find success with colored ones, however, overall, I prefer the pilot hi tec as it seems more durable.

...With a bit of engineering...
...With a bit of engineering the Hi Tec refills designed for the multi Hi Tecs can replace the ballpoint. I wrapped some scotch tape around the refill until it fit nicely inside the pen. Loved the pen, hated the ballpoint (although it wrote very well, just prefer gel ink), now love the pen and its Hi Tec replacement.

All of the Hi Tec pens...
All of the Hi Tec pens write very well, but if you prefer the Hi Tec in a classier version this is the pen to purchase. It does scratch easily, thus, you might want to NOT throw it in the bottom of your bag or purse. I keep mine in my multiple pen pouch.

This pilot follows excellency...
This pilot follows excellency in quality as with its expensive line of fountain pens. I only wish that the nib came in a stainless steel (color). It is just my own personal taste that if its gold it should be genuine so that it does not began to fade and look cheap. But that is simply my opinion....It writes altogether wonderfully.

....I did rid all of my Lamy pens of the Lamy ink cartridges and found a tremendous difference with the ink change. I use Noodlers and Private Reserve and the scratchiness is no longer there. My mom just purchased the new Raspberry Safari EF for a grad gift and I am eager to put pen to paper. I will leave another review on the nib business.

I bought several of these little pens. I have one attached to my date book an one on my lanyard. I have place others in my purse and bookbag(s). I am used to the 0.3 but I am not complaining about the 0.4...however, it would be nice if it came in the .3.

I am a student nurse and this little pen hangs perfectly on my lanyard. I am always in need of pen and this not only serves the purpose of availability, but it is a cool little conversation piece. It would be nice if the pod was offered in black ink. I had to buy the black refill....not a big deal. The push and twist release is also nice.

This case is not only...

This case is not only absolutely cute, it is highly functional. I am able to carry all of my Pilot HI-Tec-C (about 20) pens, 6 other needle point pens, a few fountain pens, a Lamy pencil, an eraser, pencil sharpener, a few fountain pens and extra ink cartridges. Nevermind the items I have hidden away in the bottom compartment. It opens nicely so I can clearly see the contents and quickly choose the pen of choice. I can attach this case to my book bag by either the handles or either of the two metal loops on the outside.
