Inferior Pen. I'm a big fan of Hi-Tec C's [0.3's & 0.4's] and they are my favorite all-around utilitarian pens, but NOT this particular 0.5— it's unusable. The ink resembles a fine point lead pencil with hard dull led that doesn't show, but worse - the tip bends under pressure, it writes scratchy, and skips. I won't be purchasing any more 0.5's.

Writes silky smooth and the ink is excellent; thick and quick drying. Draws a perfect line without any issues. FYI: These pens are very slim, like holding onto a small peppermint stick or a candy cane.

This is the best metallic pen I've purchased to date... the ink is excellent and writing ability is even better. This puts the Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip DX to shame, but I'm uncertain if it's Acid free.
