I purchased this converter for my Pilot Decimo. The CON-50 converter fits great, and it doesn't leak or anything, but I'm having trouble getting the converter to fill up with ink all the way. I've been dipping the pen nib into the ink and using the converter to pull up the ink thru the nib, but despite pulling the plunger back and then forward to try to get the last little bit of air out, there's a space in the clear section of the converter that I can't manage to fill with ink. So, I'm giving this a halfway decent review because the space in the converter means that I have to refill it more frequently.

Also, I have a Pilot Cavalier fountain pen, and this converter DOES NOT FIT WITH THE PEN BODY SHUT, as mentioned by a previous reviewer. It would be ideal if this were just a little bit less wide, because I have a love-hate relationship with the CON-20 (with the balloon/sack). To be clear, this converter fits in the nib part, but you can't close the pen body with this converter.

This fountain pen writes exactly as advertised - a fine point, more like a 0.5 pen. The weight is great, and it's a slim fountain pen, much slimmer than any other I've seen. It's great - I've had it for about a year and love using it. The ink flow is good (I've been using J. Herbin ink in it) with the CON 20 converter, since I don't think the CON 50 fits the pen because it's so slim. That's my only gripe (the CON 20 converter doesn't have a clear body, so you can't see how much ink is left or how much you've filled it). The color of the pen body is true to what showed up on my screen, and the finish is a pearly pink.

I just loaded the ink into my Hi-Tec Cavalier Fountain Pen. The color comes out much darker from the pen than the swatch, but I haven't actually taken a small amount and smudged it across the paper, so I suspect that it's true to the color shown on my screen. It writes very smoothly and is fairly wet. All in all a great buy, and so much more economical and fun than cartridges!

I've had the pen for a couple of weeks now, and I love it! No need to carry around multiple writing implements, this covers all of it. I ordered the pencil component and 2 gel ink pens. It's easy to assemble (no problems with the pencil component), and the ink writes smoothly. The weight is fairly substantial, but it has the feeling of quality to it without overkilling it. Great product!
