Bought some if this stuff a few months back. I gotta say, it's probably some of
the best paper I've ever drawn on. I draw a lot of my own comics, and this paper
is just awesome for it. The blue guidelines for panels are extremely convenient,
and make it effortless when creating them. The quality is really good, too. It
can take a lot of heavy erasing and a lot of ink without warping or withering.
However, when using some liquid ink and even markers, the ink may bleed through
the paper - as many paper types do. So it'd be good to have the paper on
something that you don't mind staining, or keep a sheet of scrap paper
underneath. So in conclusion, this stuff is great. If you're at all interested
in writing/illustrating your own comics or manga, I highly recommend this. And 9
dollars for 40 sheets, there's no way you could go wrong.
PS. This stuff will also fit in pretty much any scanner you could have in your
home, which is awesome. So buy this stuff!
I've used these pens for everything from drawing to note taking, even though its
not wise to have another page under the one you're writing on, since the ink
will bleed through the paper on most occasions. The only real problem with these
are the well know Sharpie smell, which I'm sure lots of us have gotten use to by
now. And that they bleed through paper, like I said. I wouldn't use these for
anything that's too important.
I recently got a set of these pens from Michael's. A 005, 03, 08, 1 mm, brush,
and a pencil, all pens in black. I gotta say, they do make a very nice line and
are probably something that I will go back to in a later time. The only reason I
didn't give 5 starts is because they don't stand up all that well to erasing.
Other than that, these pens are great!
I bought 3 of these pens at the Office Works in Labrador City, two for me
(because I go through a lot of ink) and one for my girlfriend to try out. We
both like them a lot. I use them for everything from inking my drawings to
taking notes. Just a great pen.
