Just got mine yesterday, and I'm already in love with it. Is it pretty much the
same darn thing as the Midori, to the point of being a "rip-off" of their
design? Yes, obviously it is. In all honesty though, for so long it was nearly
impossible to get the Midori here in the states (unless it's just that I was
just completely inept at searching online, which is totally possible I guess),
that I am not totally surprised that someone attempted to fill that niche. I
have wanted a Midori for so long that I jumped at the opportunity to get
something that is similar. To tell the truth, I had given up on getting a Midori
and only realized that it was more available in the states now after I ordered
this journal and started looking up ways to make DIY inserts. Still, I'm not
unhappy with this purchase. I love my journal. I immediately went out and got a
Rhodia no18 and made a couple of my own inserts out of the paper. They are much
cheaper that way.
The journal itself is beautiful and just feels and looks so beautiful that I
just find my fingers itching to use it. I look forward to making this journal my
own, and to having it for a long long time.
I'm not really so wild about this one. I don't hate it, but the rattling that
other reviews have mentioned really is annoying. I have also found that this pen
doesn't always start up right away if I haven't used it in a while. I always
have to scribble a little to get it going. Its a shame, because it's a really
nice looking pen. I just don't find it as functional as I had hoped.
It's a pretty basic pen. But it's also my go to red pen for grading. It writes
smoothly, and it starts immediately every time. Plus, the fine point makes it
easy to fit all my feedback on student papers. Solid pen.
This case is freaking amazing. It can fit everything I possibly need to carry
with me. I'm a teacher, so there are many times when I need to carry a mobile
classroom kit with me, and this case fits the bill perfectly. I love love love
This was my first fountain pen and I absolutely love it. I use it with a
Noodler's Bulletproof ink, and it was an awesome introduction to fountain pens.
It leaves a great line and feels super smooth. In over two years of use, it has
never let me down. Just an overall great pen.
I've been carrying this pen around in my pocket for nearly two weeks now, and I
absolutely love it. It's so handy to have all different writing options in one
slim, professional looking pen. It writes well, and while the refills are
definitely small, I have been using this pen regularly and I haven't been
burning through refills. Admittedly, it's a pricey pen, but if you feel like
treating yourself, I highly recommend this pen.
Just got these today and I ended up cutting up a bunch of junk mail that came at
the same time. These are ridiculously cool. So far they seem to cut very well.
They also seem very sturdy and well put together. I look forward to putting them
to use. One of my coworkers and I have a little ongoing contest on who can put
together the coolest pencil case set (yes, we are actually that nerdy) and these
are going to put me in the lead.
I love this pencil case. It's small enough that it is easy to carry in my
backpack, but it holds a ton of stuff. I've been looking for the "perfect"
pencil case for a while now (I'm definitely an organization nerd), and this one
pretty much fits the bill. Love it!
