I also find that these pens are quite durable. Perhaps heavy handers might not want to purchase this type, but I have seen a few heavy hands write quite well with the .25 and the pen survived. I also have tried the unibit .18 and though the black and blue write well, I did not find success with colored ones, however, overall, I prefer the pilot hi tec as it seems more durable.
