I seriously like this thing. 5 different lengths and each produces a sharp tip. I already forgot if it's 1 or 5 that makes the regular pencil angle; I very quickly decided 3 is my favorite setting. Slightly shorter than normal, sharpens fast, good for sketching.

I bought this sharpener because it CLOSES. I've been having trouble with pencil shavings escaping inside my pencil bag – invariably finding their way into my kneaded erasers (which I finally had to isolate in tiny jars). I saw this sharpener and thought Huzzah!

A Note: Do please set it back to "close" after every time you use it! --->

I kept mine open on a setting for several days, when I went to close the little plastic slot had trouble sliding all the way. I thought Oh ...
