Staedtler Triplus Micro 774 Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 mm

I'm a professional illustrator, and this is HANDS DOWN my favorite pencil to work with, and has been for years. Admittedly, I did like the original body better, but the current body has no adverse effects on its function, and I have several of these that have held up for years - I just keep replacing the leads. The long eraser is great, and since it's the same white vinyl material as the Staedtler's full-size artists' eraser, it really does a top-notch job of cleaning. I only break out my bigger one when I need to clean up a large area of paper.

The most awesome thing about this pencil, though, isn't the body or the eraser, but the lead itself. Staedtler's mars micro lead (the put different lead in their super cheap pencils, it's dif...
