This is a very smooth ink, in a warm woody brown tone. The color is more earthy than chocolately, and although the name is "Caramel" I don't think it is the traditional yellowish caramel color. It is very slightly toward a reddish-brown. I am currently using it in a TWSBI Eco with a medium nib, and I think it's a perfect combination. Very pleased with this ink!

This is my first Kaweco ink, using it with a Kaweco pen. Good flow, great brown.

I'm down to my last cartridge, and have fallen in love with this brown ink. It's so smoky and smooth and I love how it looks, so I had to snag a full sized bottle! Lovely rich brown that looks phenomenal on cream colored paper.

A super underrated color, very affordable and very nice.

Each year I load at least one pen with ink that most closely matches PANTONE's color of the year- for 2025 its Mocha Mousse. I've not found a great match from any ink manufacturer but this Kaweco Caramel Brown comes closest - it a mid-tone, neutral brown, writes neutral - not too wet or dry. I'll be using it unless I find a better match to Mocha.
