Treat yourself to a deluxe writing experience with the LAMY Lx. Based on the classic AL-Star, the Lx (pronounced "Luxe") features precious metal plating on its clip and finial, with a matching anodized aluminum body. The nib has also been subtly embellished, featuring stylish laser engraving and a glossy black PVD coating for improved durability. Like the AL-Star, it features a translucent gray triangular grip section and a window in the barrel that lets you see how much ink is left in the pen.

The pen comes with one blue ink cartridge and a matching anodized aluminum pen case. Additional cartridges, converters, and replacement nibs can be found under Recommended Refills/Parts.

Note: This pen may come with ink residue in the nib from being dip tested by LAMY at the factory. As with all new fountain pens, JetPens recommends giving your LAMY a good cleaning before you use it.

    Nice, but frankly I like my Safari just as much, and I can't say that the metal is much nicer the plastic on the Safari. That's more praise for the Safari than it is criticism of this pen. I do like the color.

    I have had this pen for months. The smooth writing with just the right amount of pen to paper feedback makes all the writing enjoyable. The aesthetics are fantasticle implying the "i could look fancy but down to have fun" vibe. This is one of my travel pens at the moment with Mango Lamy ink. Love how it can show shade without any pressure on the nib. This should be considered as one of go-to fountain pens in anyone's arsenal.
