Great pen. I have used it with only carbon ink which I love. Works well on almost every kind of paper. JetPens is the very best place to buy it. It's authentic and nobody beats JetPens price.

Bought as a replacement for an original that writes in EF but these are more like Fine or Med. Fine. Tried switching nib unit but will not work. Will get an original off another store.

This is my third pen of this type. It works smoothly and is excellent for writing as well as ink line drawings. I have three because I keep them in several places for convenience.

Gave this as a gift and it was very well received. She raves about how much she loves it often.

This is a nice pen. The look is a classic one and feels good to write with. However, I give it 4 of 5 stars for being just too fine a point for me. Though in the right hands this would be a plus. I need a fine point to keep me from must making a mess of my penmanship, but this is like ULTRA fine. The flow is still good, so no problem there, just very (extra) fine.
A kind of funny note on the pen is the pocket clip. Why is there one? This pen is so long that I doubt there is a pocket that could hold it. Even if you used the clip to hold the pen on say a notebook, the length would likely catch and snap the clip. Though it does serve to keep the pen from rolling when not writing.
