    Great notepad but...

When I order these pads I didn't pay enough attention to the dimensions. If your using them in the U.S. the size is larger than the standard 8.5"x11" making it hard to file the pages.

As it turned our this isn't a real problem as the pages aren't perforated so you can't remove the page without cutting it out of the binding.

Lastly, the stapled binding makes it difficult to use the back of the page as it wont lay flat.

Rhodia makes great paper products so tis review is more and admittance of my ineptitude than a criticism of their notepad.

First time using paper of this quality. I used marker on the paper and had to go over an area more than once. The paper did not pilll-up (not sure of the proper term for when the paper gets overloaded with ink and begins to ball up) at all! It also did not bleed through. Very impressed. I don't think I can go back to regular paper. I'm going to need another job just support my pen and paper habit.

For my purposes, the dots are a big improvement over the more traditional grid style for such kinds of notebooks. Naturally the Rhodia paper is excellent quality. I have both the 8.25 x 12.5 as well as a slew of the 5.75 x 8.25" notepads (which were confiscated by my wife!).

Beautiful paper, very smooth for fountain pens. I use this for work and I often do need to use it for technical drawings.
