Enjoy practicality and performance in one little pen! Pigma Microns are a favorite for making detailed drawings and craft work. Its versatile tip works well for artists, writers, and illustrators alike. Best of all, the patented, smooth flowing Pigma pigment ink is reliable, permanent, acid free, and archival quality.

Perfect for everyday writing and sketching, this PN pen has a durable plastic nib that creates a skip-free fine or medium line (0.4–0.5 mm wide) depending on your writing pressure.

First of all, JetPens is top-notch in their customer service and products I have ordered. I like the Sakura MICRON PN, and it is different from the Sakura Graphic pens. Sauka MICRON PN pen gives the option of a more thin line or a wider line depending upon how hard one presses on the nib. (Never good to press too hard on any pen's nib, but those used to using this type pen will know what I mean.) It gives a nice line and I am thankful Sakura has this size available with their same quality of nib and ink.

For those of you wondering how thin the line can be, it’s slightly thicker than the Micron 02. It’s maybe a 0.38mm at its thinnest and a 0.7mm at its thickest. Happy drawings!

Like this pen. As a CZT (certified zentangle teacher) this a good pen for people who are heavy handed. The nib is tougher than the regular Micron pens. My only complaint is that it seems to run out of ink much more quickly than a regular Micron pen.

I rather like this pen....

I rather like this pen. It has a plastic nib that comes to a nice fine point. The ink is the same as in the regular Sakura Pigma Microns, but I found I kept wearing those nibs down to the metal collar inside three weeks. I gave this version a try. It's been two months (as of this writing) and while this version of the pen's fared better than the original Micron model, the nib on this one has also worn down badly. I do a lot of drawing and writing--and on smooth paper, so tooth isn't the culprit, here--and though there is plenty of ink left in the pen, I've already had to set aside one of these and pick up another. (It's a good thing I stock multiples!)

When the pen wore down, I was able to see how the nib was made: it's a plastic cone with radial slits for capillary action with a tiny metal ball to regulate the feed. That will tell you HOW FAR DOWN the tip wore off from heavy use.

I suppose I'm rather hard on my pens. I use them constantly. To have this model last nearly two months is an improvement over the original Micron, thus earning it 4 stars.

Can be a little scratchy, but isn't noticeable. I love this pen because of the (relatively) thin and thick lines you can get depending on the pressure you use to write. I use this pen for headers in my notes, but sometimes even for essays. The ink is vibrant and dries quickly.
