I bought the following colours to complete my set, so you’ll see this same review for each of the colours: #83 Warm Grey, #75 Chocolate Brown, #68 Lilac, #59 Opal Green, #32 Azur, #28 Mahogany and #85 Dove Grey. I use this fineliners for extensive note taking, and all the colours are readable. I find that the Staedtler are slightly more vibrant on coated paper as they don’t seem to sink beneath the coating and are easier to uncap thanks to the clip. I do prefer the tip of the Stabilo, though. The colours of these pens and the one of the Stabilo are extremely close, if not the same, and since the colours are almost identical, they Staedtler 334 and Stabilo 88 complement each other very well; the 0.3 mm for detail and the 0.4 for larger areas. If I could design what I consider what would be a perfect pen, I’d use the Stabilo barrel and tip size together with the Staedtler Dry Safe ink and clipped cap. I would also use the ink that is most vibrant on all papers, coated and uncoated.
