Add a stylish and emotive flair to your writing with the Uni EMOTT color mechanical pencil. The 0.9 mm lead provides a smooth writing experience and bold, colorful lines. The pencil's slim, square design is comfortable to hold and keeps it from rolling away on your desk. It also makes it easy to carry a variety of colors together for sketching or color-coding. The lead is water resistant and great for shading, and it is erasable on most paper.
These pencils come with a tube of eight replacement leads (two of each color) and a white plastic stand so that you can display them stylishly on your desk.
This set includes 4 colors: Blue Black, Khaki Green, Vermilion, and Yellow.

I got all 3 sets of the...March 3, 2022Verified PurchaseI got all 3 sets of the Emott 0.9mm colored mechanical pencils. I use colored pencil occasionally for art work. I prefer mechanical pencils since you don't have to sharpen the leads. Past experience with 0.7mm colored leads lead to the lead frequently breaking. The EMOTT 0.9mm leads never broke once during testing.
Pros: The 0.9mm leads did not break once while coloring a chart of color blends.
The 0.9mm lead covers more area more quickly than the smaller 0.5mm and 0.7mm lead.
Colors blend well with each other.
Colors layer well and do build up deeper colors when layered.
Colors blend very easily using a colorless alcohol blender marker.
Pencils worked flawlessly advancing the lead easily and retracting as needed.
Cons: The tiny eraser did not erase that well - not a deal breaker though.
No white or gray lead for highlights or tones.
These pencils worked great. It would be nice to see a 0.9mm multi-pencil format with the EMOTT color leads. For an artist these pencils should work well in sketchbooks, thumbnails, etc.13 people found this helpfulAnArtist -
Purchased all three pencil...April 14, 2022Verified PurchasePurchased all three pencil sets. Have only used a few thus far. However, the leads are SMOOTH in application onto the paper. Other mechanical colored pencils I have used in the past have had very hard leads. These Uni pencils have nice, smooth, softer leads and feel great while using them. The 0.9 mm lead is a nice size for writing and being wide enough on the page to be easily seen and yet still small enough for detailing in tighter areas. I like the construction and they are just clean to look at when not in use. Would buy more colors if they were to be made available.6 people found this helpfuljrholmes

Very nice mechanical...April 21, 2022Verified PurchaseVery nice mechanical color pencils with excellent line quality. However, I don’t know just what I’m going to do to obtain lead refills once those supplied run out.3 people found this helpfulmarkdavidburger

Top grade colored pencils! Ups...February 21, 2024Verified PurchaseTop grade colored pencils!
Upsides: Vivid, saturated colors. Good erasure, with built-in eraser. Extra color leads included with each set. 0.9mm is a near-perfect lead size for general-use colored pencils. The pencils snap into the white plastic 'holder' block, and it will keep the set together and organized in a bag or drawer.
Downsides: Pricey. A bit complex and over-engineered for general-use colored pencils. The white plastic 'holder' block is pretty useless as a desk tool. Each pencil snaps in, and it takes two hands to get the pencil out.2 people found this helpfulMr E
